Port Allen Woman Wanted on Theft Charge Shows Up in Comments Section of Her Own Wanted Post

PORT ALLEN — The Port Allen Police Department is searching for a local woman wanted on a motor vehicle theft charge after she drove off in a vehicle a repossession agent was in the process of reclaiming — and then appeared in the comments section of the department’s own Facebook wanted post to dispute her physical description.

According to a wanted notice issued by PAPD on March 24, 2026, Rhonda “Razzberry” Franklin of Port Allen is wanted in connection with an incident that occurred Monday, March 23, 2026, in the 800 block of North 13th Street.

Police say a repossession agent was in the process of reclaiming a vehicle at that location and allowed Franklin to retrieve personal items from inside. At some point during the repossession, Franklin got into the driver’s seat, reversed the vehicle, and reportedly said “see ya buddy” before driving away.

Franklin now faces an active arrest warrant for one count of Theft of a Motor Vehicle under Louisiana Revised Statutes 14:67.26.

The vehicle is described as a 2016 maroon BMW X5 with no license plate affixed.

Within minutes of PAPD publishing the wanted notice to the department’s official Facebook page, a profile bearing the name “Rhonda Razzberry” appeared in the comments section. The profile disputed the weight listed in the official notice and asked for a better photograph, adding “vroom vroom b****.” The same profile had earlier posted a meme depicting a man running from a tow truck with the caption “Mama I went viral again.”

The PAPD post drew 37 reactions, 36 comments, and 16 shares within the first hour of publication.

Franklin is described as 5 feet 6 inches tall. Anyone with information on her whereabouts is asked to contact the Port Allen Police Department at 225-343-5525.
